Responsibilities:

In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to:

• Develop and deliver courses in Architectural Design Studios, Architectural History, and supervise graduation projects and postgraduate courses.
• Evaluate and monitor individual student progress, providing valuable feedback to ensure student success.
• Conduct high-quality research in their field of expertise and publish in reputable journals and conferences.
• Provide consultative expertise as a subject matter expert to the local industry through approved partnership projects.
• Ensure a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment in all college-focused activities.
• Support and participate in accreditation initiatives.
• Maintain effective work relationships across the organization and community.
• Motivate and inspire confidence in students and colleagues to overcome limitations and achieve success.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Ph.D. from a reputable university
• An outstanding teaching record
• A strong research and publications track record in top journals
• Adequate experience in supervising student projects and thesis papers
• A record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research (an advantage)
• An excellent record in community service and scholarly activities
