UAEU seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on the applicant’s qualifications, academic accomplishments, and experience. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a reputable and independent research program focused on:

• Construction Management and Project Management
• Information and Communication Technologies (e.g., BIM, Digital Twins, VR)
• Advanced Digital Engineering
• Building Construction

Responsibilities

As a faculty member, you will:

• Develop and lead a sustainable and innovative research program.
• Publish impactful research in top-ranked, field-related journals.
• Engage in teaching excellence and student advising at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and utilize advanced laboratory facilities.
• Promote the growth and reputation of UAEU.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university, with a focus on advanced research in construction management.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, although preference will be given to those with professional experience and relevant university teaching experience in English-speaking academic environments.
• Affiliation with relevant professional bodies is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Architectural Engineering or an equivalent field with demonstrated competence in construction management and digital technologies.
• Experience in subject coordination and curriculum development.
• Professional experience in construction management, with eligibility for membership in organizations such as CIOB, RICS, APM, or PMP.
• A strong research track record and teaching experience at reputable higher education institutions.
