Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will report to the Associate Director of Design & Construction and will be responsible for managing all phases of construction projects, from initiation through completion. This role involves handling projects with budgets that often exceed $20 million, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee new construction, renovation, and tenant fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and budget constraints.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with client representatives and users to define project requirements and scope, implementing economic inclusion goals for each project.
• Budget Oversight: Establish and monitor project budgets, providing cash flow projections and approving invoices and change orders.
• Construction Coordination: Manage logistics and ensure adherence to policies and project management standards during the construction phase.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least ten years of construction or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of design and construction methodologies for various building types.
• Proficiency in project management software, including MS Office and MS Project, as well as familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM.
