Position Details

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and teaching courses in architectural design and urban design.
- Guiding students in design studios and overseeing various design projects.
- Teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate subjects, including:
- “Basics of Architecture and Design”
- “Design Methodology”
- “Interaction Design I/II”
- “Masters Project”
- “Project Design Theory” and more.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have:
- A leading researcher profile (R4) with a strong track record in academia.
- Significant experience and expertise in architecture or a related field.
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills to support and guide students.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: Approximately 9 million yen, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, with a break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and designated holidays.
- Contract Type: Full-time regular employee with a tenured position and a six-month probationary period.
