ENgAGE is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practices that improve environments for individuals of all ages. The centre focuses on consolidating aging-related research and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to enhance living environments.
Project Background
The CS-HTS project investigates innovative housing solutions that facilitate aging in place. By employing a community science approach, the project aims to develop, evaluate, and recommend integrated senior housing models tailored for Singapore’s urban context. This interdisciplinary research initiative involves experts from various fields, including architecture, urban design, social sciences, and public health.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Research Fellow, you will:
- Collaborate: Engage with internal and external partners to enhance project outcomes.
- Lead: Supervise junior research staff, guiding them in literature reviews, evaluation framework development, and data analysis.
- Communicate: Prepare and present research findings in various formats, including abstracts, posters, and reports, to diverse audiences.
- Manage: Oversee the research process, ensuring high-quality outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: A Ph.D. in Architecture, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience, including program or project management.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge in areas such as aging in place, urban design for older adults, and inclusive urban planning.
- Skills: Excellent project management, communication, and leadership abilities.
