Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on the construction of resilient social infrastructures, particularly in risk management against natural disasters. This position involves collaboration with a dedicated research group on natural disasters and disaster prevention, making it a pivotal role in addressing pressing societal challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in areas related to earthquake and disaster prevention engineering.
  • Teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Supervise master’s students in their research projects.
  • Engage in community outreach and collaboration with industry partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess:

  • A strong background in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated research achievements in disaster prevention and resilience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: ¥5 million – ¥8 million, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Start-Up Research Fund: Approximately ¥800,000 to support initial research endeavors.
  • Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 with a break from 12:00 – 13:00.
