Responsibilities
Members of the lecturer pool will be called upon to teach lower division, upper division, or graduate courses as needed. Specific teaching responsibilities vary by discipline:
- Ceramics: Instruction in hand-building, wheel-throwing, surface design, and kiln operation.
- Interdisciplinary Studio: Teaching across various artistic mediums and social concerns.
- New Genres: Focus on moving image, sound, performance, and emerging art forms.
- Painting & Drawing: Covering technical skills and advanced concepts.
- Photography: Addressing contemporary issues and various formats.
- Sculpture: Instruction in woodworking, metalworking, mold-making, casting, and digital fabrication.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
