Key Responsibilities
As a Research Assistant (Business Title: Associate, NUS Cities), you will have a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Database Management: Establishing and managing databases to support research projects.
- Data Analysis: Interpreting and analyzing data to extract meaningful insights.
- Research Collaboration: Working across teams on multiple research projects simultaneously.
- Academic Contributions: Assisting in the generation of conference presentations and papers for peer-reviewed journals.
- Project Support: Collaborating with research Principal Investigators (PIs) to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Research Interest: A keen interest in urban studies, particularly in areas such as:
- Climate Resilience
- Ageing and Health
- Transportation and Land Use
- Urban Observatory
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, along with relevant software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
