Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the teaching team, focusing on core undergraduate modules. Responsibilities include:
Developing effective teaching initiatives for both in-person and online formats.
Creating engaging bite-sized videos to enhance e-learning experiences.
Supervising learners of various levels, from undergraduates to adult learners.
Facilitating lectures and studio sessions, fostering an enriching learning environment.
Providing learner consultations to support student success.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should possess:
A recognized Master’s or Doctoral degree in a field related to cities.
Excellent verbal, reading, and writing skills to communicate complex concepts clearly.
The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A strong knowledge and interest in urban sciences and related disciplines.
A commitment to improving pedagogical methods and engaging students effectively.
Prior teaching experience is an advantage. Familiarity with innovative educational tools will also be beneficial.
