The Rani Scholarship is dedicated to empowering four female students each year—two from the UK and two international students. The scholarship will support those facing disadvantages, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations in areas where they are significantly underrepresented.

- Number of Scholarships: 4 (2 for home students, 2 for international students).

- International Students: 50% discount on tuition fees.
- Home Students: A yearly stipend of £6,930, increasing by 5% each year.
Eligible Courses
The Rani Scholarship is available for female students enrolled in the following full-time courses, where women currently represent less than 25% of the cohort:
- BEng Chemical Engineering
- BEng Civil and Structural Engineering
- BEng Software Engineering
- BSc Computer Science
- BEng Mechanical Engineering
- BSc Accounting and Finance (with Placement)
- BSc Economics
- BSc Finance and Business Analytics
- BSc Game Design and Development
- BSc Computer Science for Cyber Security
- BSc Finance and Economics
Eligibility Criteria
For Home Students:
- Must identify as female.
- Must have an unconditional or conditional offer for one of the eligible courses.
- Must meet one of the hardship criteria, such as:
- Refugee or asylum seeker status
- Care leaver
- Disabled
- Low participation background (POLAR4 quintile 1 and 2)
- Socio-economic disadvantage
- Must reside at a Bradford postcode.
For International Students:
- Must identify as female.
- Must have an unconditional or conditional offer for one of the eligible courses.
- Must meet hardship criteria, including:
- Refugee or asylum seeker status
- Disability
- Other forms of hardship will also be considered.
