Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in a variety of teaching and development activities, including:

  • Teaching: Deliver courses to future architects, focusing on design, sustainability, and the significance of the built environment. The teaching load will be part-time, ranging from 20% to 80%, depending on agreement.
  • Curriculum Development: Participate in course planning, administration, and the development of educational programs that enhance architectural education.
  • Mentoring Students: Guide students through their academic journey, providing feedback and support in their projects and thesis work.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Architecture and 1-3 years of professional experience as a practicing architect.
  • Proven teaching experience in architecture, particularly in course leadership and development.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Desirable Skills

Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be especially valued:

  • Architectural history and theory
  • Social inclusion and community-focused design
  • Experimental architecture and urban planning
  • Coordination and exhibition of architectural projects
