About the Position
The position is part-time (20-80%) and involves teaching future architects about the significance of design in sustainable development. Candidates are expected to have experience in teaching and participation in development projects, or strong ties to the architectural practice.
Responsibilities
As an Artistic University Lecturer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching at both undergraduate and master’s levels, focusing on architectural design and theory.
- Developing and organizing course materials, including lectures, workshops, seminars, and project supervision.
- Engaging in course planning, administration, and student assessment.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the development of the architecture curriculum.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 1-3 years of experience as a practicing architect.
- Proven teaching experience, particularly in course leadership and development.
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English, as instruction will be in both languages.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Architectural history and theory.
- Social inclusion in architectural practice.
- Experimental architecture and urban planning.
