About the Role
The Department of the Built Environment is seeking candidates with a robust professional background, ideally with six or more years of senior-level practice experience in project management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in teaching and developing modules and programs related to Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Teach and Develop Curriculum: Design and deliver engaging Project Management modules and programs that align with industry needs.
- Contribute to Research and Innovation: Bring in-depth knowledge and industry experience to enhance the Department’s research initiatives and educational offerings.
- Engage with Students: Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and innovation.
- Support Outreach Activities: Participate in departmental outreach initiatives to enhance the Department’s visibility and engagement with the community.
Qualifications
Candidates interested in this position should possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A relevant degree with extensive industry experience, preferably at a senior level.
- Teaching Experience: While not mandatory, candidates with prior teaching experience in higher education may also apply under the Educator Track Scheme.
- Industry Expertise: A strong and diverse managerial and technical background in the built environment and infrastructure sectors.
- Adaptability: The versatility to quickly adapt to evolving student and market needs.
