About the Position
The PhD candidate will work on developing high-resolution reconstruction techniques and performing urban CFD simulations, both crucial components in creating the Digital Twin of the Earth. The project involves:

Job Responsibilities
The PhD position is a part of TU Delft’s UrbanAIR project, which focuses on simulating urban airflow to tackle environmental challenges in cities. The successful candidate will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to conduct high-resolution 3D urban reconstructions.
- Develop and implement computational models for Urban CFD simulations.
- Analyze simulation results to generate insights into urban airflow patterns and environmental conditions.
- Contribute to scientific publications and present research findings at international conferences.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this PhD position:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, architecture, environmental engineering, or a closely related discipline.
