What the Scholarship Offers

The UK Academic Excellence Scholarship offers:

• Up to £3,000 over the duration of a three-year undergraduate degree.
• A guaranteed £1,000 in the first year, with subsequent payments of £1,000 for following years, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

1. Academic Achievement: Applicants must achieve AAA or higher in their A-levels (or equivalent qualifications) from three Level 3 qualifications.
2. Low Participation Area: Students must come from a low participation area as defined by the POLAR 4 classification, specifically in quintile areas 1 and 2.
3. Domicile: Applicants must be domiciled in the UK. EU nationals residing in the UK are also eligible.
4. New Students: This scholarship is available only to new students. Those transferring from other universities are not eligible unless they are entering at stage 1 of their program.

Application Process

The best part? There is no need to apply separately! The scholarship will be automatically assessed based on the grades achieved. If you meet the criteria, you will receive the scholarship without any additional paperwork. Successful candidates will be notified by the end of October 2024.
