About the Role

The Senior Research Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the lab’s research activities and output. This position involves collaborating with leading experts in sustainability, contributing to ongoing research projects, and helping to expand the lab’s impact both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Research Assistant, your main duties will include:

• Research Support: Assisting the SALab team with literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and interpretation, leading to publications in high-ranking journals (Q1 or Q2).
• Data Management: Collecting and organizing research data while ensuring its integrity and confidentiality. Utilizing software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for data analysis and visualization.
• Documentation: Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings for publication, as well as assisting with grant proposals.
• Collaboration: Working closely with lab members, faculty, and other researchers in meetings and knowledge-sharing activities.

Qualifications

To apply for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Ph.D. in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least five years of post-Ph.D. research experience.
• A strong publication record, including at least three journal articles in the past year for senior applicants or four publications for recent post-doctoral scholars.
