This part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent position primarily supports the Department of Architecture and offers an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative team.
Role Overview
The Course Technical Administrator will work closely with the Computer Officer and various course teams to provide essential support related to architectural software and printing services. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a support role who is eager to assist both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
In this varied role, you can expect to:
Assist students with printer and plotter setups, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions.
Provide guidance on printing and plotting processes.
Support audio-visual usage and ensure smooth operation during presentations.
Keep copyright information up-to-date on Moodle sites.
Make minor corrections to the department’s website.
Help with software installation and licensing for students.
Liaise with staff regarding reading lists and assist with University systems like room bookings and lecture recordings.
Manage the delivery and setup of IT equipment.
