Position Overview

  • Job Title: Assistant or Associate Professor in Digital Technologies for Architectural Engineering

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and develop innovative research projects focused on digital technologies in architectural engineering.
  • Contribute to the educational activities at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.
  • Advise Ph.D. candidates and oversee course development.
  • Establish an externally funded research program and contribute to the department’s mission.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • A Ph.D. in architecture, architectural engineering, building science, or a related field.
  • Experience in informatics or computer science, particularly as it applies to architectural engineering.
  • A strong profile in digital technologies and computational approaches relevant to design.
  • Demonstrated ability in securing research funding and leadership experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Working Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Salary: Based on the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities:
    • Assistant Professor: Scale 11 (€4,492 – €6,148) or Scale 12 (€5,441 – €6,986)
    • Associate Professor: Scale 13 (€6,224 – €7,575) or Scale 14 (€6,538 – €8,322)
