Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will engage in:
- Conducting research and education within the Center for the Possible Futures.
- Providing assistance in digital design for interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintaining and managing tools and machinery at the KYOTO Design Lab.
- Teaching courses related to computational fabrication in the Graduate School of Science and Technology.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:
- A recognized researcher profile (R2 or R3).
- A strong academic background in relevant fields such as ethics in social sciences, technology, or design.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: Starting from 5 million yen, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, with a break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and designated holidays.
- Contract Type: Full-time regular employee with a renewable contract every five years.
