ENgAGE is dedicated to improving environments that support the physical, psychological, and social well-being of individuals across all age groups. The centre aims to consolidate aging-related research and foster collaboration among various stakeholders, ensuring meaningful enhancements to living environments.
Project Background
The CS-HTS project focuses on adapting housing to support aging in place, utilizing a community science approach. The project aims to collaboratively develop and evaluate integrated senior housing models tailored for Singapore, incorporating cross-sectional and longitudinal studies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Research Fellow, you will:
- Collaborate: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.
- Lead: Supervise a team of junior researchers, providing guidance on literature reviews, evaluation frameworks, survey designs, and data analysis.
- Communicate: Prepare and present research findings through abstracts, posters, and reports to diverse audiences.
- Manage: Oversee project processes and ensure quality control throughout the research activities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: PhD in Architecture, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in program/project management and interdisciplinary research.
- Expertise: Strong background in areas such as aging in place, urban design for older adults, and inclusive urban planning.
- Skills: Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
