Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Professor, you will:

  • Develop an internationally recognized research program in BIM, focusing on sustainability, circularity, and climate-neutral construction.
  • Explore various scales of the built environment, from individual building elements to urban settings.
  • Investigate the integration of BIM throughout the construction process—from design to end-of-life applications.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and beyond to enhance research themes.
  • Engage in high-quality teaching for bachelor’s and master’s students in BIM and related fields.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A Ph.D. in engineering technology, architecture, or a related field, with a focus on BIM.
  • A strong research track record, evidenced by publications and industry experience.
  • Ambition to contribute to the valorization of research in industry and society.
  • Teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
