Job Title: Research Assistant (Urban Physics)

Project Description
The T-Winning Spaces 2035 project, funded by the Academy of Finland, seeks to explore the implications of digital remote work on urban environments. The project aims to provide strategic solutions and recommendations for organizations and individuals by analyzing how urban design affects energy consumption, health, and exposure to environmental hazards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Research Assistant, you will:
- Support the modeling of greenhouse gas and air pollution emissions related to various remote work scenarios.
- Analyze changes in population behavior and their environmental implications.
- Produce simplified estimates of environmental impacts to inform future urban planning.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Proficiency in Python, with a strong grasp of mathematical modeling and data analysis.
- A background in engineering, data science, or mathematical modeling (knowledge of transport modeling is a plus).
- Experience in collaborative research environments, with a working proficiency in English.
- Master’s level studies are desirable.
