3. Advisory: Offering strategic advisory services to organizations and municipalities, while collaborating with local and international partners.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant (Business Title: Associate, NUS Cities), your responsibilities will include:

• Database Management: Establishing and managing databases to support various research projects.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing and interpreting data to generate meaningful insights.
• Collaboration: Assisting across multiple research teams and projects simultaneously.
• Academic Contributions: Supporting the preparation of conference presentations and papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
• Project Support: Working closely with research Principal Investigators (PIs) to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:

• Educational Background: A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Research Interest: A keen interest in urban studies, specifically in areas such as:
  • Climate Resilience
  • Ageing and Health
  • Transportation and Land Use
  • Urban Observatory
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
