As a Building Performance Specialist in the Building Robotics Laboratory, you will play a key role in developing advanced technologies for building facades, cooling systems, and smart robotics. Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Development and Evaluation: Working on innovative building solutions that enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
  • Standards Integration: Extracting and applying relevant standards (such as ASHRAE and WELL) to product design while effectively communicating these requirements with the engineering team.
  • Research and Implementation: Engaging in the practical implementation of systems within real buildings on the NUS campus and beyond.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and refine smart building technologies and automated systems.

Qualifications

Candidates interested in this position should meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Building Science or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) factors and familiarity with personalized environmental design and control.
